This is a quote I love. So they announced the short-list of 50 canidates for the Australia job, and wasn't one of them.
Oh well!! It was worth trying for!
All the videos of the final canidates had very high-tech audio/visual capabilities. Very cool to watch. That's something I would like to learn how to do one day... Edit videos so they are REALLY cool! :)
In the meantime... GUESS WHAT!?!?! I AM SOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!!! (and I probably shouldn't be, cuz it hasn't happened yet!) But...
Today I got a phone call from The David Letterman Show!!!!!!
They said they watched Jasmine's video of the cowboy trick and "got a kick out of it". They said she's in the final round of auditions, and they will let me know by the end of this week if we'll be flying to New York! AAAHHH!!!!! :D
And it's really short notice too! If they pick her, we fly tp New York City on Monday afternoon, tape the show Tuesday, and then fly back. Boom-bada-bing. Crazy, huh?? We haven't even practiced the Cowboy trick in a LONG time!! I submitted that audition video Nov. 11, 2008!! (I checked my blog!!) And I hadn't heard from them since! So... they make pick us, they may not. I'll find out soon though!!!

I am so sad that you didn't get into the finals for the job! They don't know what they are missing! You can come get a job here in vegas as a show girl at a burlesque? I am sure that would be the second best job in the world!:) You know you have a couch to sleep on! I am so excited for you about Jasimine though. That's awesome! Let me know how things go!
