Future Reception Ideas

Yesterday I went to the temple. As I was coming out, there was a wedding party taking pictures on the front steps. (And I waited for a break, so I didn't have to be in the background of any of those pictures!) But as I was leaving, a horse-drawn carriage pulled up!

I stopped and talked to the driver for a minute. (Mainly to admire the horses!) The newly-wed couple had hired them, so they could ride in a horse-drawn carriage to and from the reception.

I thought this was a great idea! So for my future wedding, I might do that. (Depending on what time of year I get married... if it's in the summer... NO WAY.)

Another idea I got from reading the book "The Last Lecture" was to leave in a hot air balloon. (Something I've always wanted to do too!) So either of those would be fun and memorable!
