Updates- No pics yet!

OK- here's a quick update!

I don't have anyone to take a picture of my haircut, but I will post one as soon as I get it!
Realistically, I should have had someone take one when I had it done. (because you know I'm never going to get it to look as good as the stylist had it!)

And my date was way fun. We had some private time to talk while driving up to Saguaro Lake. It turns out we have a lot of common interests, backgrounds, and travel stories. He was a nice guy. We were supposed to meet up with our group at Butcher Jones' Beach. However when we got there, no one was there! We had to drive up to the top of the point to get reception to call Liz & Eric. (They came about 40 minutes later!) So that gave us more time to talk, walk along the beach, and enjoy being out in nature.

I saw a skunk, but he ran away when he saw us coming. The night was just beautiful. We were the only ones on the beach at first, so there was a peaceful solitude. The weather was perfectly cool. I didn't even need a jacket at first. Later, we built a fire on the beach. (We went on a firewood collecting expedition). Once everyone else got there, we roasted polish sausages for dinner. Then had hot cocoa, marshmallows, and Krispy Kreme donuts for dessert.

Eric had a very powerful telescope. It was so cool to see the moon up close. We spread blankets out on the ground. All 8 of us laid on our backs and tried to identify the different constellations. Someone with another group (not ours) had brought a guitar. So as we were lying there, laughing and talking, we were being serenaded with a variety of guitar music. It was very enjoyable. Later, the wind started picking up. But even then, it wasn't too cold. It was just a good night. Very fun.

We're going to go out again- but not until December! (He knows I'm leaving Wednesday.)

By the way- I'm leaving Wednesday! (if you didn't already know!) I'm going on a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico!!! :D (which I'm very excited about!) And then when I come back it's already Thanksgiving! (which I'm very excited about too!!!) This is the year all the family comes to the Johnson house!!! Yeah!!!!!! :D Should be awesome!!! :)
